Many interesting fusion dishes and the ambience was really lovely. The coffee is good and the food portions, especially the sandwiches, are quite big so sharing is a good option. Have to go early to avoid a 45 mins to 1.5h wait!
All the drinks here are impressive and tasty. Miso mushroom pasta is heavenly. The Crab mantou was famously raved about but when we tried it, it was not a hit for us. Service is good, one of the ladies was very considerate in getting us a table. Do take note their kitchen last order is 45 mins before their closing time. Will definitely come again to try other items.
Very good food here. Worth every cent. The food comes after 5 mins of ordering (not joking) & portion is super generous so if you’re not very hungry I would recommend you to share. Drinks are more to the healthier side but you can request if you want it to be sweeter etc. The service here is extremely good as well. Highly recommended❤️
Crowded on weekend, need to queue for 30-45 minutes. Suggest to leave your number down to queue and head to Maxwell area for a drink / cake first before heading back to the cafe.
Ordered the usual popular item Rose Udon and Crab Linguine. Rose udon $19 was amazing, the karaage was really good. Disappointed with the crab linguine $18, had a weird fishy smell and taste, couldn’t finish it. Iced sesame milk latte $7 (non-dairy) was delicious! gula melaka latte $8 was abit sweet. total bill was about $50~
Heard a lot of people rave about this cafe, and for good reason!
We ordered the crab linguine, and parma brie French toast, which were both really tasty. There was a good amount of crab meat in the crab linguine, and the parma brie French toast managed to achieve a good balance between sweet and savoury.
For drinks, we ordered the sakura peach blossom, and iced black sesame latte. The iced black sesame latte was really unique, and quite ingenious.
Our friends also ordered the aburi scallops udon, which was so good too - something we would definitely order the next time we visit.
Do come early though, as this place is really popular and often see crowds, and you might wait up till an hour to get a seat.
this place is sooooo overrated i was very disappointed by the food here. reached 10 mins earlier than the opening time and there was already a queue with 15 ppl in front of me. the interior is very cosy and chic, and service was friendly. but the food !!! was !!! sad !!! the black sesame coffee latte had very faint bssm undertones that was overpowered by the strong coffee flavour. the uni mayo tater tots were nice & generous serving but it honestly got jelat after a while. the gochujang udon was a lil bland, ive made gochujang udon at home before and its very cheap and easy, so i felt that it was really overpriced. the iconic cold scallop ikura udon was very simple with basic ingredients, wasnt blown away tbh. i think for the BIG HYPE i was left very underwhelmed. i guess youre just paying for the vibez. wouldnt recco anyone to come here, esp if youre expecting amazing food.
Contrary to some reviewers, I think the crab linguine was really good! The flavour was not too strong and the crab taste added the perfect touch to the al Dante noodles. As for the chicken with French toast, we felt it was alright. Not the best. In terms of the drinks, the burnt chocolate was phenomenal.
Went on a weekday afternoon after gym. Order their chicken and french toast and it’s my new favorite! Great that in the early afternoon it’s not as busy. ‘Cause I went without queue. But line started building up when I sat down. I will come back next time to try the pasta.
